About the project

In a marked departure from conventional portfolios, the distinctly magazine-style website of photographer Norman Behrendt underscores his conceptual approach, and specifically his grouping of pictures by projects.

The unusual juxtaposition of typography and imagery opens up both direct visual and textual access to his work, while the subtle use of color (for the cursor, and intro pages) adds an element of surprise to the purposefully clean layout of the fully responsive website.
